How to delete your account

In the app: open the You tab, tap your avatar to open Edit Profile, tap the bin icon in the top-right corner, and type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app: email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address your account is registered with. We'll confirm and delete the account within 30 days — usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email address, display name, avatar choice).
• Your household memberships.
• Your device's push notification token.

Chores you completed stay in your household's history, but with your name removed — nothing in the app links them to you any more. Households you shared with other people carry on without you — households with no remaining members are deleted along with their chores and characters. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before those backups are rotated out.
